B.E.S.T. Sports and Youth Development a Monaghan based professional
coaching organisation is encouraging local children to take part in
football in a unique way this summer.
This year they are bringing qualified coaches from America and England
to coach soccer and rugby. The soccer coaches have Major League Soccer
and FA experience. Director of Coaching Barry Dolan states "It is with
great pleasure that we bring over Paul (USA & ENG), Robert (ENG) and
Brendan (USA). These coaches will give the children of Monaghan the
latest techniques and skills of their chosen sport. These coaches
along with our current crop of Irish coaches are the best I have had
the pleasure to coach with and I know the parents and children will be
given undivided attention and encouragement throughout the camp week."
Barry Dolan runs B.E.S.T. Sports and Youth Development and is no
stranger to youth sports having worked in America with MLS, Shamrock
Rovers FC in the Eircom league and local Dublin teams Rathfarnham PFC,
Fettacairn YFC and Kilnamanagh FC. "The camps are designed for 4-14yr
old boys and girls and aim to give every child their chance to shine.
We incorporate Gaelic football, Soccer, Tag-Rugby, Olympic hand ball
and fun games along with our famous theme days including Wacky
Wednesday and Water Fight Friday to name just two. We find that if a
child enjoys the sports and the games on offer the chances are they
will continue their sport activities with us throughout the year at
our Weekly Academies and continue to practice and improve on their
skill-set."
Camps are being held at the following venues:
Week starting:
21st July-Ballybay
28th July-Monaghan town
4th August-Castleblayney
11th August-Emyvale
